Join us for our 2nd annual indoor lacrosse State Games of Oregon Tournament August 21/22 for the following divisions:

Girls' High School Saturday, August 21, 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Boys' High School Sunday, August 22, 11:00am - 4:00pm

Note:  In the event we expand over our maximum teams, we may schedule games Saturday afternoon.  Please keep this in mind when making your plans.

Eligibility: See the eligibility requirement for each division.

First six teams per league to register!

Team Limit:  10 players

Team Cost:  $300.00 ($30.00 per player if fill roster with 10)

Uniforms: Teams must wear matching colored uniforms.  Matching reversible jerseys are preferable. Teams may bring both dark and white high school jerseys.

2010 State Games of the West qualifying event:
Participating in this year's event qualifies entrant to participating in the 2010 State Games of the West.  Please check the State Games Website for divisions offered.

Tournament Format
Eight teams per division (Maximum ten players per team)
2 12 minute halves with a 1 minute half time
Each team guaranteed minimum four games
Round robin round with two pools first 6 games
Consolation game
Two semi-final games
Championship game
State Games T-shirt
1st, 2nd, 3rd place medals

How to enter your team:
Each team is required to have a captain.  The captain can be based on a captain from the previous school year to make the selection easy.  Otherwise, it is up the team to elect a captain.  This captain will be the speaking captain during the tournament for the games.

The team captain or team manager is required to send their complete list of 10 team players to [email protected].  The team must provide their own goalie.  The e-mail should include the following:

*  Team Captain Name
*  Team Name
*  Player's Names
*  Player's High School Program
*  Player's US Lacrosse Number

An e-mail will be sent back to the captain confirming receipt of the team list.

Mail the Team Entry Form to Lacrosse Northwest, 2101 SE Main Street, Portland, OR 97214.  Do not mail the form to the address listed on the form!

Additions to the roster may not be allowed after play starts in the first game.  Players may only play on one team per division.

Each player will need to register for the their division at www.laxnw.com by completing the following:

*  Create a New User account on the laxnw.com Website.
*  If player already has a user account; log into the user account entering user name and password.
*  Register for your division being sure to update school program, US Lacrosse Number, and experience level.

Lacrosse Northwest will add the names to the roster per the captain's request.

Qualified Officials:
Each game will be regulated by a qualified certified umpire.  Lacrosse Northwest intends to keep the tournment competitive yet safe for a great experience for the players.  Umpires will review the specific indoor rules to the players prior to the start of the game.  Games are modified play to accomodate the small fast paced arena while following OHSLA/OGLA/NCAA rules.

Equipment Required:
Each player must come ready to their own equipment including required protective gear.  Don't forget your water bottle.

Please arrive early for check-in 30 minutes prior to your first game time.  We will start each game on the half hour, no questions.

Incoming 9th graders through Class 2010.  Players MUST be Varsity caliber players and able to compete with the best in the state to keep this tournament at a competitive level. Typical teams will field mostly 11-12th graders.
