LaxNW Lady Rippers Summer 2010! - April 10, 2010
This summer, Lacrosse Northwest will be hosting tryouts during the first two weeks of Summer League for our LaxNW Lady Rippers High School and Middle School Players. The following are the three teams we will be bringing to the Summer 2010 Cascade Cup Tournament in Snohomish, Washington July 30:LaxNW Rippers High School A Team (Entering 2010:9-12)
LaxNW Rippers High School B Team (Entering 2010:9-12)
LaxNW Rippers Middle School Select Team (Entering 2010:6-8)
In addition to the summer tournament described below, the LaxNW Select High School A team will travel to Palm Springs in January for the 2011 Sandstorm Tournament. This tournament has grown considerably over the last few years, has impressive competition, and is a great recruiting tournament for those striving to play at the collegiate level. Tournament Information
- 3rd Annual Cascade Cup Tournament in Snohomish, Washington.
- July 31st & August 1st (Potential to play Friday, July 30 so prepare to stay overnight Friday and Saturday).
- Teams at the tournament include Youth, Middle, School, and High School Players. Lacrosse Northwest is taking two girls high school teams and one middle school team.
Cost per player is $300.00 and includes the following:
* Practices Wednesday evenings at Lakeridge High School at 2 hours per practice. These practices are in addition to the eight weeks of practice and competitive games June 28 - August 16.
* Tournament Fee
* Four full length games in pool play plus playoff rounds and crowning the champion at each division.
* LaxNW Club Select uniform and LaxNW T-Shirt
* All travel expenses paid including transportation and hotel (food excluded).
* Coaching staff's compensation.
* $25.00 Lacrosse Northwest processing fee.

Selection Process
- Players will be observed by coaches during Summer League Monday nights June 28 and July 5. An additional tryout will be held Wednesday, June 30. Rosters will be posted Tuesday, July 6. The first practice will be Wednesday, July 7.
- A list of the 20 players chosen for the LaxNW Summer 2010 Club Select travel team will be posted on our Website Tuesday, July 6, 2010. In addition, we will send an e-mail to all participants in our summer club program announcing our travel team.
- Lacrosse Northwest will also include an alternate list for those who are not on the original travel team list. These players will be able to travel with the team in the event an unforeseen circumstance arises and a club select member is unable to travel. Alternates are asked to practice with the team.
