Lakeridge HS Girls' Lax JV Coaching Positions Available - October 11, 2010
Lakeridge Pacers High School Girls' Lacrosse is looking for two JV coaches. Lakeridge has the longest history of lacrosse of all school programs in Oregon. Its players rise from a solid Lake Oswego girls' youth program, highly qualified high school coaches, and supportive parent volunteers.
The proof is in the history of past state championships, stellar showings in the state playoffs over the past three years, and several Lakeridge Pacers' alumni currently playing DI, DII, DIII, and club lacrosse.
What are we looking for?
Junior Varsity Head Coach
Seeking a head coaching job but without the stress of a head Varsity coach's responsibilities? This will be your team, run by you with the assistance and support you need by the Varsity coaches and your assistant JV coach.
Candidate must have strong leadership qualities, teaching/coaching experience, a drive to educate, coach, and support the players, and have played women's lacrosse long enough to be able to explain and demonstrate practice plans to developing and experienced players. Your varsity coaches are ready to support you during your team's next winning season.
Commitment is five days per week of practices and/or games. A few weekends are also required. Schedule can be flexible as coordinated with the other coaching staff. Salary is competitive!
Junior Varsity Assistant Coach
Newly graduated from college and a former high school and/or collegiate player? Or, perhaps you have been away from the sport for years and are looking to get back into the game? Share in the responsibilities with the head Junior Varsity coach.
Commitment is five days per week of practices and/or games. Schedule can be flexible as coordinated with the other coaching staff. A few weekends are also asked of the assistant coach. We will offer a reasonable salary based on coach's experience and availability.
Practices start mid-February with the season ending mid-May.
