Lake Oswego Girls' Youth Summer Camp - April 26, 2011

Lacrosse Northwest is working in a partnership with Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation to offer this Summer youth lacrosse camp for girls of all ages and abilities.  We are providing our knowledgeable coaching staff to give participants the best lacrosse experience possible.

Location:  Hazelia Field at Luscher Farm

Grades:  Girls ages 8 - 14 for new Learners and Girls Grades 11-14 for more advanced coaching.

Girls' Equipment Required:  water bottle, goggles, mouth guard and stick:

NEW LEARNERS:  For players with a year or less playing time or experience and younger players.  Basic lacrosse skills focus on cradling, passing, catching, ground ball pick ups, defensive positioning, shooting, and other skills.  Each session ends with a scrimmage or fun game.

SKILLS, STRATEGY, and TEAM PLAY:  For players with 2 or more years game playing experience.  Focus on advanced lacrosse skills such as offensive strategy, field transitions, shooting techniques and defensive team play.  Athletic development such as speed and agility drills are incorporated.  Scrimmaging included.
