Salary Range: $1,929 – 2,893 (depending on experience)
Essential Job Functions:
- Work collaboratively with head coach to promote team success.
- Provide a positive learning environment for the student-athletes.
- Evaluate and teach the skills necessary for successful performance.
- Understand and embrace the Central Catholic community.
- Manage student-athlete behavior during practice sessions, travel, and contests.
- Take necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Embrace the “student” component of student-athlete.
- Uphold and enforce administrative regulations and school policies
- Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and other school personnel.
- Set a positive role model for student-athletes.
- Attend Central Catholic team awards night.
Qualifications:
- Educator who understands and utilizes the value of lacrosse as a mechanism for educating student-athletes.
- Experience with high school students and the sport.
- Certification through the NFHS Coaches Certification Program (ASEP) is required of all coaches at the beginning of their coaching assignment.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- MESD Bloodborne Pathogen, Concussion Management, Steroid Abuse Prevention, and Coaches Certification (can be obtained through Central Catholic High School).
- Special requirements:
- The person employed for this position must be able to verify identity and employment authorization.
- The candidate selected for this position must complete a pre-employment record check and other Archdiocesan required trainings/certifications.
