Girls' Head Coach Needed: Westview High School - May 22, 2010

Westview Girls' High School Lacrosse is seeking a head coach for the girl’s varsity lacrosse team, starting 2011 or sooner.  The individual needs to have coaching and playing experience, be capable of organizing and running the practices while working closely with the other coaches and parent volunteers, have the capability to motivate the players while upholding excellent sportsmanship on and off the field.  The time commitment is Monday-Friday for practice and/or games and an occasional Saturday.  Administrative functions are handled by the club president, officers and board members.   Salary will be negotiated. Collegiate playing experience is a benefit.  Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

•    US Lacrosse Level 1 Coaching Certification
•    CPR & First Aid Certified
•    21 years or older
•    Member of US Lacrosse
•    Intermediate knowledge of lacrosse
•    Willing to submit information for a background check
